Why can't I reveal files in Finder with "find"?

When using the "find" keyword and hitting return, you may find that Alfred disappears but the correct Finder window doesn't appear.

There seems to be a bug or corruption for a small handful of users in the OS X 10.8.2 update. This prevents "Reveal in Finder" from working for any application, including Alfred.

This issue is outside of Alfred, but users have reported that resetting Finder's preferences has resolved the issue.

You'll need to first reset Finder's preferences and then restart your Mac. You can do this by deleting the following file in your user account's home folder:

~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist

Be sure to restart your Mac after deleting this file, to allow OS X to re-create the file.
